The Poodle is an intelligent, loyal and playful dog. They are social and love attention and affection making them an excellent companion dog. Due to their gentle nature they are well suited to family life with young children, and the elderly. Trainability Thought to be one of the most intelligent breeds, the Poodle learns commands quickly. It is an active breed with an active mind that loves lots of play, and learning new things. Origin The Poodle is a pure breed originating from Germany, although widely popular in France. Bred as a water and scent dog, it has a hypo-allergenic coat, ideal for families and those with allergies. |
